Pool water quality maintenance

• When the pool is prepared and filled with drinking water, regular maintenance of pool water quality follows (water pH regulation, disinfection of pool water...).
• Optimal pH value should be maintained between 7,2-7,6 (disinfection is the most efficient)
• Disinfection destroys microorganisms present in the water and ensures bacteriological quality of pool water (free chlorine quantity that has to be present in the water: 0,3-0,6 mg Cl/l)
• Algae itself are not the source of infection, but create the perfect environmet for development of other microorganisms. They can have effect on the water turbidity, colour change and appearance of foul smell of the water.
